I'm not planning on helping since my party could most probably win even with these odds stacked against them anyway but it'll just be annoying.

I had my party huddle up to me in a defensive formation and the succubi began closing in on us very slowly, like some kind of predator closing in on their prey.

I then set my sights on the area in front of the stairs and…

Gravity took us and we fell into the portal, only to be dropped right in front of the stairs before the portal immediately closed up to stop any succubi from using it to chase us.

They were confused about my disappearance from their formation until one succubus turned around and saw us heading towards the stairs.

They tried to chase after us but of course they weren't able to stop us at this distance.

We descended down the stairs as fast as we could and I could hear the screams of frustration coming from behind us.

No doubt they were upset that I managed to slip away from them.

I finally managed to reach the next floor and I quickly realised that it was a boss floor.

Looking through the door, I was a little confused when the only thing inside was a single throne made out of stone at the end of the hall.

There was no one seated on the throne and there was no one guarding or watching over it either.

The room itself also didn't look that grand and it was just a simple hall with no decorations adorning it at all.

That's strange…

The idea that there wasn't a boss here did not cross my mind at all and I suspect that they will only show up after someone enters the boss room.

I had also thought that this was the final floor of the Dungeon until I saw another set of stairs leading down to the left of the empty throne, meaning that this was most definitely not the final floor of the Dungeon.

I already have my own suspicions on what kind of boss it could be with this setup and I don't really feel like facing them after dealing with so many succubi just a floor above…

That's why I decided that this was a good time to call it a day and set up camp for the night.

This would mark my second day here and I had five days left in this Dungeon.

I'll challenge the boss tomorrow and then hopefully the next floor will be something more bearable than this one…
