Rebirth: The Villainous Young Master Doesn't Want to Follow the Script

'Who are these unknown group of people who even dared to launch a terrorist attack at the Capital city, particularly, attacking the Grand Duke household, of all people?'

Rheina thought as she held her chin to think further because this sudden event makes her feel like there is something that she should need to take care of.

Not that she cared about what happened to these people and this wasn't her business anyway but for some unknown reason, the woman felt the need to, at least, to be involved in this kind of situation that she didn't know why.

'Ever since Sir Eclipse had left this continent, I felt that there is something that I need to do in this place that I couldn't understand what that is. I'm not the type of person that would usually dwell on this kind of matter but sometimes, I felt an uncomfortable feeling.'

The woman didn't know what to think about those uncomfortable feelings that she had for the passed several months ever since Eclipse had left the Cranus Continent and ventured out to Vertum Continent, as she suggested to him before he took off and sailed to the other continent.

"As for the identity of those unknown group who suddenly launch a terrorist attack, one of our watchers theorize that it might be some sort of conspiracy since this terrorist attack happened the next day after the Stellarus Empire's Crown Prince was found dead on his bedroom."

She snaps from her thoughts when her subordinate gave out some information regarding the recent issues that happened at Stellarus Empire, especially at the Central Region.

"A conspiracy? Well, that would be possible since the tension between two parties that happened three years ago because of the [deceased] Third Young Master of the Chevalier household."

Rheina didn't dwell that much into those uncomfortable feelings that she had earlier, and she needed to focus on this matter.

"The deceased third young master? Master, are you pertaining to the illegitimate child of the former Marquis Augustus Chevalier?"

Rheina looked at her subordinate and said; "Yes. It's him. Ezekiel Zephyr Chevalier. Three years ago, a trial has been held and the now deceased Crown Prince Alois has been put on the trial. There are countless evidence that suddenly appeared for his involvement in the crime for assassinating the third young master."

In reality, if this was a young master from any noble household, it wouldn't be that much of an issue, however, it's a different case and a special one.

"Ezekiel Zephyr Chevalier" might be an illegitimate child and a half-blood noble however, he is still part of the main family line of the Chevalier household, a Grand Duke household masquerading as a Marquis household, the household of a war heroes and the household that serves as a SWORD and SHIELD for the Stellarus Empire.

One of the pioneer households and part of the Neutral Faction of the Empire.

'If you think about it, the Chevaliers could be considered as an extension branch family of the Stellarus main Royal family, and only a handful of nobles would know about this kind of information since this is a strictly confidential file that couldn't be attained easily.'

« ….. "Do you want to know a little bit of secret? This information is highly confidential, and you won't be able to get your hands in this information since the only ones who knew this are the descendants of both Chevalier household and the Stellarus royal family." ... »

When she remembered those words and the secrets coming from Eclipse, the Lotus Killer couldn't believe of what he had learned and she knew that if someone had caught her knowing this kind of confidential information, her life would be in danger.

Not only her but the rest of her family and her clan.

However, the Lotus Killer didn't have to worry about that for now and she would come up with countermeasures to prevent everything that might happened to her family and her clan.

At the back of her mind, she suddenly remembered a certain conversation that she had with Eclipse before the said young man left the continent and ventured out outside of this continent.

[FLASHBACK]

"If this is a highly confidential information, why did you tell me?" – Rheina asked Eclipse about that, and the young man looked back at the Lotus Killer with a serious expression on his face and sighed as he replied.

"It wasn't my intention to endanger you about this information however, I have this kind of feeling that you might need it in the future, just in case." – Eclipse said as he explained his side and not to cause a misunderstanding between them.

Rheina thought for a moment as she frowned because she knew that if this confidential information had been released to the public, this could bring a huge uproar, not only within the noble society but the whole Empire itself.

"Are you telling me this because you want to cause destruction to this Empire?"

Rheina asked the young man because she knew how deep his hatred for both of his family and to this Empire because of the humiliation and sufferings that he had experienced.

She won't deny that those b*stards deserved what would comes to them and she even cursed them under her breath because of the sufferings that this young man had experienced ever since her biological mother died.

However, if Eclipse planned to brought destruction to this Empire, then, there are innocent lives that would involve in this matter and the Lotus Killer wouldn't want for that. Ꮇ√∟#ΕϺРΥ%Ꭱ

Sure, she isn't a saint or some kind of hero that would speak out for righteousness since her hands had been bathed with the blood of the people she had slaughtered, and she had no right to criticize Eclipse for this way of thinking, but the woman didn't want for Eclipse to be swallowed by his emotions and let the darkness clouded his morality.

She looked at the young man with a worried gaze and then, she was about to speak when Eclipse cut her off and said; "In reality, I don't really care about the lives of others and that time, I only want revenge for the humiliation and sufferings that I experienced ever since my mother died back then."

His tone of voice became colder than his usual monotone voice and the Lotus Killer could sense the sudden rush of killing intent coming from Eclipse and the woman isn't that by far affected because she's used to it.

However, there are times that when Eclipse released his killing intent, the woman could have a hard time breathing since the young man's killing intent is so powerful that could rival with those powerful monsters out there.

"But…"

Rheina noticed that the young man's killing intent had disappear little by little and he paused mid-sentence, and the Lotus Killer saw him took a deep breath to calm himself as he continued.

"If I were just as childish and unreasonable back then…. I would gladly put upon a destruction to this Empire, so that it could appease my anger that much."

The woman could only listen to whatever the young man was saying and didn't want to interrupt him and let him say whatever he wants that he always kept on his heart and let it out.

Rheina just observed the young man as he let out his emotions and then sighed as he continued.

"Right now, I just wanted to be free. I don't want to have any connections in this Empire nor that household that I once called [home]. I want to start anew."

Aside from the fact the Rheina knew Eclipse's hidden potential, the other reason for her to decide to relinquish her rights to the young man is because of what he said.

To start a new life and cast aside his identity as the third young master Ezekiel Zephyr Chevalier.

'That's why I also prepared the official documents for Eclipse's new identity, and I know that one of these days, [that person] must had probably reached out to him, although [that person] could be quite a little eccentric but I just hope that those two could work things out.'

"Ahm…. Master? T-there is something else…."

Rheina snapped from reminiscing those memories of her with Eclipse as she looked at her subordinate who seemed anxious for some reason.

"Is there something else?"

Her subordinate sighed as she said; "There is another report from the Stellar Empire's Central Region. According to the watchers, Marquis Altron Zerux Chevalier has been kidnapped during the terrorist attack."

*SLAM!

"WHAT? THE MARQUIS HAS BEEN KIDNAPPED?!"

'Launching a sudden terrorist attack at the Chevalier household, only to kidnap its Patriarch of that household?! Just what in the world….?!'
