'From the Marquis Sanders household of Cliffton Empire? From the Capital city of Krom? What is an esteemed person like him doing in this place?'

Eclipse thought as he looked at this intruder who introduced himself as Xylon Sanders as he took off his hood to reveal his appearance in front of him.

It's true that Eclipse wasn't that familiar within the noble households of this Empire, even though he had been in this Empire for the past several months together with Arico and became a well-renowned S-Rank adventurers with nobility that was bestowed upon them because of the Imperial Law.

However, as a former noble, Eclipse still managed to gather some information about the noble households of this Empire so that at least, before he could enter the Central Region of the Capital city of Krom, where most of the noble households and even the Empire's Royal family resides, the world-hopper wouldn't be so stupid for not knowing them.

'A perfect example is the one in front of me right now. A member from one of the prominent households of this Empire and to think I'll be meeting someone like him here.'

From the information that Eclipse had gathered, the Sanders household is a household of Spear Arts Technique and the pioneer household who first established the Spear Knights in this Empire.

Also, the person who introduced himself to Eclipse is none other than Xylon Sanders, the rumored genius in the Spear Arts from a young age and the one who would likely to be the next Patriarch household of the Sanders.

'However, the fact that this person had sneakily went inside to this room doesn't that change anything and I'm still wary of his motives but then again, if he tries to do anything here then, it would be their fault and not mine.'

Eclipse thought as he looked at this young man named Xylon and based on his appearance; it seems that this person is around in his mid-20s but that's not important.

The world-hopper crossed his arms around his chest as he gazed at the young man coldly and said; "So, what's the reason for the rumored genius from the Marquis Sanders household doing in a place like this? Give me a straightforward answer. Don't make me repeat myself once again."

'I'm no longer a noble so it doesn't matter to me about the social etiquette within the noble society and even though I became a semi-noble granted by the Emperor of this Empire, I'm not obliged to follow the noble customs and traditions since I'm just given noble titles for formalities.'

Eclipse and Arico might have a noble title that was bestowed to them by the mandate of the Emperor's will but that's only for formalities as they weren't full-fledged nobles, and it wasn't mandatory for both of them to follow the etiquettes of the noble circle.

'And besides, they weren't even swearing loyalty to the Empire as they didn't kneel before the Emperor to accept the knighthood that was bestowed to them.'

In short summary, both him and Arico were just nobles in name without any influence within the noble society and the world-hopper doesn't mind that since he didn't care about those trivial mortal matters.

He is no longer a native of this worldline as his ties now lies within the Universal Realm of the Main House System and became one of its residents, and not only that, but also a successor candidate for the Leader's position.

'Honestly speaking, if it were for me, I don't want that position either, but I couldn't just outright reject that position when the Lord God is the one who appointed me but anyway, that's a problem for a later time.'

For now, he needs to focus on this matter first.

Xylon thought as he laughed mentally because of the audacity of this kid to say those words to him and even though it's disrespectful because of his straightforward response to him, however, for some reason, Xylon couldn't get mad at him at all.

It might be because ever since he was young, knowing from who's household he came from, the people around him would always try their ways to get into his good graces because of his achievements and not only that, as the rumored to be the next Patriarch of the Sanders household, but the people's expectations to him are also higher than expected.

'These were nothing but superficial and hypocrisy of the nobles who only thought of themselves on how to benefit and took advantage of both sides if needed. Well, that's how noble society works.'

Now, as he looked at this young man who took a seat after what he had done earlier, Xylon noticed something about this young man.

Although he couldn't see his true appearance because of the mask, the only notable feature this young man had is his snow-colored hair and lilac-colored eyes, which is practically rare within this Empire.

Xylon knew about this person being an S-Rank adventurer who was granted nobility because of the Imperial Law of this Empire however, they weren't obliged to follow the noble customs and traditions of this Empire as they were just nobles in names only.

'Looking at this young man, although he is from a commoner background but for some reason, I could sense an air of nobility in him, I mean, the way he walks earlier, his manner of speech and his movement, those weren't how a born commoner should conduct.'

Especially, this young man's appearance, Xylon couldn't help to think about this young man's mysterious background.

Not that he is being prejudiced about this young man's background or something, but Xylon wasn't even sure on what he could think about him either.

'Here goes nothing.'

Xylon thought as he composed himself and then took a seat opposite to the young man's and then both of them stayed silence for a moment while on the outside of this room, an auction event is still on-going and the items that's being sold keeps on increasing and how the attendees are still keep on bidding for these items.

Xylon ignore the clamor outside of this room and only focus on the matters on hand.

He took a deep breath and said; "As I mentioned earlier, I would like to—"

His sentences were cut off when the other person interrupted him; "Are you wasting my time here? You know, I have some other engagements that I need to do, and I just happened to entertain you because I want to hear what you want from me, but it seems like it would be a waste of time if your stalling things here, Second Young Master Xylon."

'That tone of voice again. Also, his speech might sound rude at all but there is no malice in his words and it's just pure irritation on his part. Not only that, but he also knew what position I was in the household. Addressing me as the second young master wasn't that wrong either.'

Xylon thought and sighed as he cleared his throat and finally spoke; "Sorry. I know this conversation would take up your time and as you mentioned earlier, you have other engagements that needs to be accomplished but for now, please hear me out first….

Rheina asked one of her subordinates who come to her office to deliver some of the documents that needs approval or for review since the woman couldn't go back at the Clandestine clan's main manor for a moment as she had some other business in the Underworld, and she needs to take care of those in his office at the headquarters.

"About the recent issue, the supposed meeting between the three factions and the Emperor has been postponed because of the sudden terrorist attack happened at the Marquis Chevalier household."

The woman stopped what she was doing when she heard the report coming from one of her subordinates about the situation happened back at the Stellarus Empire.

"What? A sudden terrorist attack? At the Chevaliers?"

'What in the world happened?'

Rheina thought as she snapped from her thoughts as she continued to question her subordinate; "Anything else? Aside from the postponed assembly and the sudden terrorist attack?"

Her subordinate who came into her office immediately replied; "According to the watchers that we planned inside that Empire, although the Capital city didn't sustain any injuries during the terrorist attack since those unknown group of people only targeted the Chevaliers and nothing else."

Rheina frowned as she said; "The terrorist attack only aimed at the Chevaliers? Who in their right mind to launch a sudden attack to the Grand Duke household?"
