Rebirth: The Villainous Young Master Doesn't Want to Follow the Script

"Why don't you come out from where you're hiding from? I could tell that you don't have any malicious intent towards me, however, don't think I would let my guard down just because of that."

After he said those words, the sound of footsteps can be heard from behind his back and the world-hopper turned around to confront whoever that person was following him from the very start he entered in this establishment.

'Tsk! Do they really think that I won't be able to sense them? How amusing!'

Eclipse thought as he smirks while his gaze is still cold as ever while waiting for that person to come out from wherever they were hiding.

From the shadows, a person's silhouette walked out from one of the four corners of this room and the world-hopper could tell that the intruder is a man based on its stature even though he wears a cloak to conceal himself and from the looks from it, this person isn't someone that should be taken lightly.

'Although this person doesn't have any malicious intent towards me, I won't be fooled just because of that, and I can sense that this person seemed like assessing me from what he's doing right now and for that moment, that irks me a lot.'

The world-hopper felt annoyed because of what this person was doing right now and even though he stated that this person shouldn't be taken so lightly, Eclipse is someone that doesn't fear anyone and would even dare to threaten someone if needed.

'Besides, this person doesn't have a grudge against him, but I don't personally like that someone would dare to assess me secretly like I'm some sort of experiment for their own eyes. Why not just give this person a little warning gift, eh?'

He thought as he chuckled coldly while looking back at the person who come out from where he was hiding and after that, Eclipse released a little amount of pressure that could only affect this person in front of him since the world-hopper didn't want to make another commotion after what happened earlier.

'Also, I don't want this incident to even reach the owner's ears and that would complicate things from behind.'

Eclipse thought as he coldly gazed at the person in front of him who started to have a hard time breathing because of the little amount of pressure that could only affect him.

*THUD!

"I don't like what you're doing right now, and you have the nerve to do that in front of my face!"

Eclipse said in a cold voice as he glared back at the intruder, who, right now, trying his best to contain himself from not falling to the pressure and tried to resist the pressure that he released, and the world-hopper even applaud himself mentally because of this person's self-resistance.

'However, that wouldn't last long though.'

With that thought in mind, the world-hopper even released another wave of pressure that caused the other person to suddenly stumble on the ground and get onto his knees while clenching his chest with heavy breathing.

"I would gladly suggest that no one moves from their usual spot, unless you all wanted to witness a crime scene that would be wiped out without evidence since I could just kill you all from here and exit this place as if it's nothing happened here."

Eclipse said as a warning for those people who were hiding outside of this room since he had long sensed their presence alone and he could tell at least that most of them are approximately more or less ten unknown individuals that were stationed outside this room.

They even went so far as to block all possible escape routes from this area, but the world-hopper didn't mind about that.

He didn't even divert his attention away from the man who was still on the ground when he said those words as a warning for those people who tried to intervene with them.

"W-we… *cough! *cough! Don't… m-mean…. a-any…. h-harm!" – said by the unknown man as he tried to reason out himself because for the lack of breathing and still struggling from the pressure Eclipse had released, and the world-hopper just gazed at him stoically and didn't say anything for now.

'Didn't mean no harm? Then, what the hell are you guys doing? Sneaking and following me around then?'

Although these group of unknown people truly didn't have any malicious intent towards him, from the way things are right now, it will be interpreted that they were scheming against him from the shadows because of their behavior.

Eclipse snickered as he walked towards the direction where the intruder still on his ground and then, he bend over to aligned himself with the other person and the world-hopper takes a good look at him.

The world-hopper just watch as the other person keeps on coughing and breathes heavily because of the pressure he released as his cold gaze still pierce through this insolent intruder.

'There seems to be some sort of enchantment within those cloak that he wears but it doesn't matter to me if he didn't want to reveal himself since I don't care about his motives but if he ever happens to make a wrong move from here then, it would be their fault.'

Eclipse thought as he stood up and then walked away as he went back to his seat and then, the world-hopper snaps his fingers and the tension that surrounds this place suddenly disappears.

"Now, shall we have a proper conversation right now?"

As the pressure disappeared, the intruder finally let out his breath as he gasped heavily as he had been freed from that kind of power that he couldn't explain himself and from his experience alone, that wasn't even a mana or aura to begin with!

'Although there is a faint trace of both mana and aura but still, this unknown yet familiar power coming from this person isn't something that could be explained that easily with just observation alone.'

Just who is this person truly is?!

From the information that he had gathered, this person is an S-Rank adventurer, which means, basically, he is considered as a semi-noble according to the Imperial Law of this Empire. Also, this person is not a native of this Empire, especially, within this continent since he had a record from the Port that he had come from a faraway place, together with his cousin, who is also an S-Rank adventurer as well.

S-Rank adventurers are quite rare in this Empire since those who holds that kind of rank isn't someone that should be taken lightly because of their immeasurable power and strength alone and that's why there is a law in this Empire that would grant nobility for whoever holds that kind of rank, with the proper evaluation coming from the Adventurers Guildmaster from the Main Office in the Capital city.

'There is a reason for me to have an audience to this person. I need to confirm something within my own eyes before I could decide.'

He thought as he calm himself first and cough once more to ease his breathing and then, he finally stood up from the ground but because of the pressure earlier, his knees gone wobbly and if he didn't happen to clutch on the sofa chair on his side, he would likely be stumbled on the ground once more.

And that alone, would be humiliating!

"Speak. It would be better for you to just tell me what you want from me. I don't care about your identity or what but remember this, just because I didn't confirm your identity doesn't mean that you could pull this kind of stunt once more in the future."

The intruder snapped from his thoughts when he heard what this young man said, and he grimaced because of the other person's straightforward personality.

'Geez! This kid sure knows how to infuriate someone with just his words and personality alone.'

As much as he wanted to refute or scolded the other person because of his disrespectful attitude towards him however, he won't be that stupid or recklessly tried to provoke this person, knowing that his abilities that he revealed earlier is just a tip of an iceberg and it wasn't even his full power at all.

'To be honest, is that even a power that this young man had emitted earlier? In my opinion, it's more likely that it's similar to intimidation aura that most of the Royal Knights had but for this young man, it's quite a different or more precisely, his intimidation aura is more powerful than those Knights.'

That's the only assessment that he could give to this young man however, that's not what he's here for.

After he had calm himself down, he took a deep breath and then, take off his hood to reveal his appearance in front of this young man.

"First of all, I would like to apologize for what happened and for trespassing in this room without your permission. Please let me introduce myself first. My name is XYLON SANDERS from the MARQUIS SANDERS HOUSEHOLD of Cliffton Empire."
