Naval Gacha System: It's Time To Monopolize The Seven Seas!

Chapter 180: | 180 | Admiral's Return to the Port of Dawn

Abraham along with Laplace and Charlotte walked through the metallic and somewhat futuristic-looking hallway of the Port of Dawn's command center. Along the way, he felt the gaze of each personnel that passed right by the three of them.

Although a bit uncomfortable, he understood their confusion when their fleet admiral just grew out of nowhere despite being a middle-aged man. It was already enough that none of them were questioning his identity as the fleet admiral and misunderstanding him as an imposter.

"That's what you get for breaking out of your potential, Abraham. You get stared at by your own subordinates." Laplace cheekily remarked, making Abraham glare at her as there was no need to spell it out in front of him.

"I guess they are merely curious about the sudden change, Fleet Admiral. It's strange for a middle-aged man to get hit by arrow of puberty." Charlotte joined in, slightly chuckled at the circumstance of her superior.

"Puberty, eh? I guess our Abraham is finally a grown man now." Laplace squinted her eyes and maintained her teasing smile. Abraham merely controlled himself from smacking her head, deciding against it as it would make the teasing worser.

"But isn't the change worth it?"

Abraham muttered under his breath, which made the dragoness smile. Charlotte also smiled, glancing at the problem dragon to help the guy. "It's obviously worth it, Abraham. Did the evolution make your memory worse?"

"Have you forgotten what you have done to the apex of the mountain in the northern plateau? Your subordinates will be wondering what had decimated it from the face of the earth." Laplace patted his back and cheered up her lover.

"However, the increase in strength has its own challenge. It wouldn't be physical, but mental troubles. The change will be a lot more curve than what you had previously experience. If you lower your guard, they might be the ones who will get hurt." She looked forward, implying something obvious.

Abraham placed his hand on his hair and shook it. He understood the worries of the dragoness. Controlling someone's strength was merely a process of making one not ignorant of their body. Others might not take it seriously, but with his current strength, he had to take it seriously.

Otherwise, his subordinates might get hurt. While they probably wouldn't mind, he was never the kind of man who would hurt one of his own even in accident. He'd rather avoid it than actually doing it.

With this in mind, he decided that it might be necessary to have some training regarding his control over his body. However, that was for later. For now, he had to tackle the worries of his commanding officers over his disappearance these past few days.

It didn't take long before they arrived at the end of the hallway. The metallic door in front of them slid open, revealing the strategic command room of the entire building. Inside were over a dozen of commanding officers under his command.

All of them stood in their respective positions, their back straight, and their gaze completely focused at him. Their eyes were scrutinizing, worrisome, and delighted. Naturally, they had wondered what had happened to the fleet admiral. But were satisfied that he was back.

Abraham stepped into the strategic command room, his tall and wide figure looming over the commanding officers. Meanwhile, the dragoness stood beside him and Charlotte stepped forward. After all, she was second to the fleet admiral, the vice admiral of the United Navy.

"Fleet Admiral Abraham Shepherd has arrived!" She uttered towards the commanding officer, her cold and dominating voice resounded throughout the strategic command room. The moment they had heard her, they immediately saluted and cried out at the same time.

"""Fleet Admiral!!!"""

Seeing their liveliness back, Abraham slightly chuckled and walked towards his seat in the strategic command room while addressing the commanding officers. "Apologies for being gone for quite some time, I have been making you work overtime in my absence and made you worry."

"I have merely gone somewhere in the island of Crescere training myself to become stronger. The results of such training is the me in front of you. The training was fraught with difficulty and required all of my determination along with my sanity."

"Fortunately, I have completed it." After he concluded his address, he sat on his comfy chair, overlooking the entirety of the strategic command room. "Now that I'm back. I guess it's time to presume operations over the upcoming war."

With that, Abraham was back in the top of the United Navy. It was time to start overseeing the naval organization and hear its progress these past few days. As such, the commanding officers began giving their reports.

The first report that he had heard was the completion of the repairs of the Red Fleet. They would soon be completely operational and ready to be deployed back to the sea. It was a piece of good news as the Red Fleet was a significant amount of the United Navy's naval power.

It also made Abraham remember the Construction Yard Vulcan. Since he had ordered destroyers from the installation, he needed to provide the warships a crew of their own. Because of this, he had ordered the creation of a naval academy.

This would give them a steady supply of naval personnel without the need to be completely reliant in the summoning of the Naval Gacha System.

Nonetheless, the second report was about the status of the war preparation. The logistics have been formed and readied. All he needed to do was give them a go and the war would immediately start. Naturally, all of the forces under the United Navy would be participating in this war.

From the Naval Warships, the United Army, Special Response Unit, Liberation Front, and the Minos Armed Guards.

They wouldn't hold back their firepower. Especially when their enemies would be Magus and the control of the sea region on the line. It would be foolish as the moment they lose the war. The United Navy might end up collapsing from the lost.

Obviously, it was something he'd rather avoid.

The third report was mostly about the economic prosperity of the Port of Dawn and its allied islands. Trade has been booming as products across all islands were being traded into each and one another. It was quite a good advancement, especially to the allied islands as it would make them closer to the United Navy.

But the economic growth of self-development between islands had its limits. If they wanted more, they needed to go beyond the sea region and explore the inter-sea trade of other factions. However, before they could even think of such thing.

They must finished the war before them and take over the sea region of Terra.

The fourth report was the most surprising one. It was about the calming of the former southern colony, Austerus. With the rebel leader gone, the rebellion had broken apart into various factions. They were much weaker and more disorganized than ever before.

Most of the rebels were also surrendering to the United Navy en masse. A beastfolk governor has also been picked after further deliberation to manage the beastfolks of the south. The United Navy aided them in the governance, but nothing more than that.

Blood has been spilled over the land of the south. It wasn't something that would easily be forgotten and the forces of the United Navy have become more cautious of the south. It would take a long time before their status would be elevated to that of the State of Minos.

Regardless of their status in regards to the United Navy. It was a piece of good news that the troubles in the south had finally ended. At the very least, they wouldn't diverting resources towards it. Especially with the upcoming war against the home island of Terra.

With the fourth report, the short meeting between the commanding officers and the fleet admiral had reached its conclusion. Abraham stood up from his small yet comfy chair and gazed at the officers with satisfaction. They have handled the United Navy well while he was gone.

It made him somewhat proud.

"I'm proud for your hard work these past few days, my commanding officers. You have done well in managing the United Navy without me. I will never be thankful enough for your determination." Abraham uttered to his commanding officers, who also stood up with straightened backs.

"We are glad that the Fleet Admiral is back to command us." Captain Lux said with a smile.

"I feel the same." Captain Howard also smiled.

"The Fleet Admiral has no need to be thankful as it is our duty and our loyalty that fuels our determination." Rear-Admiral George remarked, smiling at Abraham.

The following commanding officers gave their words, reminding Abraham of their loyalty that would make them follow him until the end of this world. It was the loyalty that he had appreciated since the beginning of his summoning of them.

"Alright, thank you for your words. This short meeting will be dismiss." Abraham coolly said, ending the short meeting in the strategic and command room of the command center. He nodded to the commanding officers and soon left the premises, leaving them behind with their thoughts.

Charlotte and Laplace followed from behind, gazing at the wide and firm back of the fleet admiral.

"It's hard not to feel bless to be the Fleet Admiral of the United Navy." Abraham muttered under his breath, tucking the supple lips of the two gorgeous ladies upward.
