"That bastard, he actually tried to ambush me, the sheer shamelessness." Lin Shen crouched silently in a corner, and no sooner had he spoken than he had already crouched down.

Sure enough, as expected, Ximen Swordsman still tried to kill him by listening for his position.

As soon as Lin Shen's Pet Capsules were finished, Ximen Swordsman had already charged over, his sword turning into a bolt of blue lightning that thrust his way.

Lin Shen moved swiftly, looking at the charging Ximen Swordsman, a hint of mockery flashing in his eyes, as he raised the Pet Launcher in his hand.

All the pets that had been launched retreated from the sand carapace and flung themselves back into the Pet Launcher in Lin Shen's hand.

Ximen Swordsman realized something was wrong and immediately looked up to see the entire sand carapace shaking. Huge cracks began to rapidly spread across the sand carapace, and a large amount of sand and pieces of the carapace had already poured down.

"Damn... all this for a Base Mutation Egg... what kind of deathwish is this..." Ximen Swordsman cursed in shock, turning around and rushing towards the exit.

He had already seen that the pets Lin Shen had launched were not actually aiming for him; hitting him was just a feint.

The real target was the sand carapace. Crystal Base pets, empowered by the Pet Launcher, charged at the sand carapace at full force, causing the entire carapace to explode.

The sand shell would collapse any minute now, burying them all beneath it.

No one knew just how thick the sand shell above was, but a conservative estimate put it at over a dozen meters. The destructive power of such a heavy mass crashing down was unimaginable.

In Ximen Swordsman's view, Lin Shen was about to be thoroughly destroyed along with the crystals.

He desperately tried to escape before the complete collapse of the sand shell but couldn't locate the entrance anymore. It seemed as if something had blocked it, leaving the interior pitch-black.

As Ximen Swordsman rushed toward the approximate location of the entrance, he shone his flashlight in that direction.

His face turned green with alarm at the sight: a big red bull had barged into the entrance, blocking it with its body.

The entrance was already small, just big enough for one person to crawl through. Once the big red bull wedged itself in, it was impossible to force it out or push it aside with brute strength.

Unless one could break through the bull and the sand shell at the same time, but doing so would likely speed up the already fast collapse of the shell.

After getting out, Ximen Swordsman directly grabbed the hind legs of the big red bull and pulled with all his might, hoping to drag it out and create a chance for escape.

But before Ximen Swordsman managed to pull the big red bull free, a thunderous roar sounded as the entire sand shell came crashing down.

Countless chunks and grains of sand, like a landslide, rained down, burying everything underneath.

The onlookers stared in shock at the sand shell that now resembled a massive grave, all of them dumbfounded.

No one had anticipated such an outcome, and a single thought remained in their minds: "Ruthless, truly ruthless, a person who would forgo their own life for destruction."

The sand of the Colorful Desert was incredibly hard to begin with.

The sand shell was merely sand bound together, which, when dispersed and poured down, buried people under dozens of meters of sand and clumps.

Unlike typical soil, sand continued to fill in any space that was dug out, making it impossible to climb out even if one held their breath.

Moreover, with the pressure of the sand and without the ability to move, the intense gravity of Realm King Planet made escape all but impossible.

Under such a heavy weight of sand and without air to breathe, even a Mutator would not last long.

"This guy is too extreme!" Ouyang Juemiao was also wide-eyed with astonishment, having seen reckless people before but never someone who courted death like this, attempting mutual destruction when it wasn't even called for.

Underneath the sand, Lin Shen remained motionless in a corner, his carapace seemingly coated with a layer of blood film.

This was a blessing provided by the Blood Jade Mountain God after absorbing the Ascension Liquid.

Sustained by the blessing nurtured by Ascension Liquid, Lin Shen survived the collapse in a corner of the sand shell, the crushing weight of the sand almost bursting his carapace.

Fortunately, the energy from the Ascension Liquid was strong enough, and the protective film from the blessing, along with the toughness of the carapace itself, held up.

He had no intention of trying to climb out, quietly waiting for the countdown to end. He could hold his breath indefinitely and didn't have to worry about dying from lack of oxygen.

Whether Ximen Swordsman could survive and crawl out or not, Lin Shen would be the winner. Even if Ximen Swordsman was lucky enough to survive today, there was no way he could dig out the Base Mutation Egg buried below.

The chances of Ximen Swordsman being able to teleport back to this location next time were extremely low.

But Lin Shen would be able to come straight here on his next visit, and then he could slowly excavate the buried Green Crystal Eggs.
