Chapter 107: Level Four (7)

Level Four (7)

Snow Island Organization:

They successfully walked past the bridge and reached the other side. Few of them covered their heads with the straw hat while Qiao used the hood of his fleece. Qiao was the last to step down from the bridge and he looked back at the Silver Class team, they were wearing best fleeces of unknown monsters while the silver badge was shining on their chests, with the snowflakes falling down they looked like the guardian spirits formally matching to some knights. He could guess what he will be witnessing in the further level ups.

But he was here to become stronger than anyone else so he should not be inspired by normal hunters. After all he was going to face the most wicked and strongest. He followed his team and reached the organization encampment. Almost whole day was invested in travel to reach Snow Island. Qiao was little puzzle, it was winter, the snowflakes were falling down but it did not accumulate the snow on ground? It was pretty strange for him. In his world, with continuous snow fall, people usually were forced to use tools to find out the whereabouts of their cars standing in the open garage while here the snowflakes were disappearing as soon as they reached the ground.

Was it a type of artificial snow fall, he spread his hand to pick some snowflakes from the air and sure enough, the snowflakes were cold to touch. His team leader saw surprise on his face and laughed. "You seem the only one who is not aware about a certain common fact." he patted his shoulder and spoke.

Qiao looked at him and creased his brows, if the fact was common then why don't know yet? "The monsters in the Snow Island is all level four or level five and when they run around or cultivate the nature, they collect the cold in their body and release warmth, in both cases they won't let this place become a snowfield." he spoke and walked ahead to register his team and team members in the list who safely reached.

The organization has divided the encampment in eleven parts and every part can hold ten teams. If a Guild has sent his ten teams then they could occupy the whole part but Starglow Guild only sent seven teams this time so they will be accommodating some strangers too.

There was wall of eight feet of rocks around the encampment and every part was guarded by a team of hunters sent by the organization, they stand on the watchtower of rocks at every part. The chasers has to pay for two month's stay and if their weapons got shattered, they could buy the small market set by the organization.

The organization was run by various merchandise so the profit was equally divided. They were blessed by the high town and they could ask any kind of help in return of the services of taking care of low level chasers. It was type of win-win for the organization and working in collaboration.

Thankfully Qiao has something to pay else he might be looking toward the egoistic team leader. He was not arrogant only his ego was little bit off. This means he won't be scheming against Qiao but perhaps his ego create some troubles for the team. Qiao could only wish that the troubles won't be big enough.

He was excited to see the strange monsters who happened to suck away the coldness. Snow Island was usually under the shades of winter in almost whole year. It was surrounded by many lakes, rivers and natural waterfalls and because the monsters has certain type of attributes, they could use the natural cold from water and cultivate their levels, this caused the whole weather differ from the normal.

Other than the weather, the whole Snow Island was similar to the Middletown forest but it was just observation made in silence, Qiao cannot tell what would be the scene in actual forest where they would hunt monsters.

"You are level four team, you are only allowed to venture in the eastern part of the region where the monsters usually hide in the muddy ground and cultivate, beware when chosing a monster for hunt in this region because it can be unexpectedly disasstrous if few other monster were also hidden under the mud." the man who registered their team warned.

The team leader nodded and asked, "My team is from Starglow, can I ask the help of the team from same Guild in time of trouble?"

"You can ask from other teams too just don't let the monster kill many chasers, it would seriously damage your reputation and probably you will be sent back for punishment. If you are unable to find alone monster, you should wait rather than recklessly deciding against it." the man plainly explained and then it was turn of next team to register.

Qiao heard about the muddy monsters and looked at his fleece, he stopped to ask the man, "Can I buy another fleece in case the present one is of no use?"

The man seriously blinked and then shook his head, "You can buy whatever you want from the small market." he waved his hand to see that other chasers were worried about the monsters while this man was worried for his fleece.

Qiao followed his team and felt at ease, he should just buy another fleece in case he need it. If they were really going to hunt the monsters in the mud then there was no choice to wear the same muddy fleece for sleeping.

In the forest, the monsters were restless because these two months the teams visited abundantly in this region compared to the most part of the year. The encampment has issued some strict rules for lower level teams to not wander out of whim just hunt and mind their own business.

The team leader gave some last instructions for the next morning and went to rest.
