“I know you’re busy, but work is for life, not to become a slave to academic research. Seeing you is even harder than meeting the President of the United States.” Gu Qichen said with a tone of an elder.

“Uncle, you being aware of that is enough. Over the years, you’ve been even more insane than me. Mom said you’ve even moved your residence directly to the office, often staying awake all night and forgetting to eat. As a doctor, I must tell you, if you keep doing this, your health will deteriorate.”

Gu Zhaohan stated in an official doctor’s tone.

Gu Qichen, however, laughed: “Now you’ve become capable enough to lecture me.”

“I am just concerned about you.”

“Alright, I got it, I’ll explain to your mom why you can’t return home again this mid-autumn.”

“Thanks, uncle.”

After leaving, Gu Zhaohan asked, “Uncle, how long are you planning to stay here?”

According to Gu Qichen’s schedule, he was only going to stay three days in Manhattan.

He had changed his mind.

There he saw a woman, her face all bloody, being lifted out of the car.
