Infinite Clone System Made Me Too OP!

Chapter 12: Elemental Bodies

...…

"I guess I will summon three Qi Condensation Rank Clones once I leave the Fire Spiritual Pool, but for now, I still have another 17 hours left to focus on advancing my Fire Body. If all goes well, I should be on track for a Stage 3 Fire Body." Lucifer mused to himself before releasing a sigh and resuming his cultivation.

Before one could make a breakthrough to the Qi Condensation Realm, they would need to advance their cultivation in a relevant Element to a certain point. For the Fire Element, that point would mean reaching Stage 3 of their Fire Body.

Taking Lucifer as an example. Upon fully refining his body with the Fire Element, he was able to successfully breakthrough into a 1st Stage Fire Body. And as long as he continued refining his body, he'd be able to advance his Fire Body into the 2nd Stage and eventually into the 3rd Stage.

After achieving the 3rd Stage Fire Body, he could either continue cultivating in the Fire Element or make an attempt in achieving a breakthrough into the 1st Stage of Fire Qi Condensation.

As for what Lucifer would choose to do...

Well, was it even a question?

He would aim for infinity!

And to do that, he needed the strongest of foundations possible!

"The 9th Stage Fire Body will be mine… And if I can somehow forcefully awaken a Fire Physique, then the 12th Stage Fire Body will be within my reach."

Lucifer circulated the Fire Element within his body and quickly realized that he would need far more Spiritual Stones if he wanted to accomplish such an ambitious goal.

"As soon as I finish these 21 hours, I will conjure up a few Qi Condensation Rank Clones and send them out for the eternal grind."

With these thought at the forefront of his mind, he resumed his cultivation session, feeling the 2nd Stage Fire Body almost within his grasp.

_____

Time passed by like the fall of Sakura blossoms, and Lucifer successfully managed to cultivate his Fire Body all the way to the 3rd Stage!

It was an achievement that would normally be considered impossible within such a short time frame, but little did anyone know that he actively employed a fire-related technique from his pre-transmigration memories.

Although he didn't have many low-level techniques in his knowledge bank, he managed to scrounge around and find a few basic elemental ones.

Of course, what Lucifer considered 'basic' was something absolutely world-shattering to others; any number of Golden Core Formation Realm Experts would fight tooth and nail for one of his techniques!

However, to him, they were simply the bottom of the barrel, and like many things, were simply stepping stones to tread on the Path of Infinity.

Nevertheless, time had finally run out, and he was forced to leave the Fire Spiritual Pool...

Even though Lucifer had actively used cultivation concealing techniques, for some reason, he had the uneasy feeling that the old man's discerning gaze had seen through something.

But even if the old man had noticed something that he shouldn't, he made no further moves on the matter, simply returning to his sleep.

"..."

Lucifer glanced back at the snoring old man, watching the snot bubbles rise and fall, and sensed that something was amiss. However, he knew that he was nowhere near strong enough to confirm his suspicions…

In the end, he pushed the thoughts of the old man to the back of his mind and resumed his trot, quickly leaving the scene behind.

Back in the place where the young man once stood, the old man had somehow phased off his chair and stood upright like a halberd, staring at the spot the young man had just left.

"It seems like an Anomaly has been born from the testiculars of that stubborn son of mine…" The old man's appearance visibly regressed in age, his demeanor became aloof and valiant. "But regardless of which of my sons created this one, his birth will surely disrupt the fragile balance between the factions of the Tianwu Continent and result in chaos."

The now middle-aged man seemed to be pondering over a great many things as he stroked his invisible beard, wondering what he should do with this potential monster…

_____

Meanwhile, in a quaint corner of the Devilduke household's main mansion, a young man vanished behind an alleyway. Finally, he figured out who that old man was!

'It turns out that the old fogeys of this small family had plenty of free time on their hands—even going so far as to pretend to be weak old men…'

'Though I know nothing of your intentions, oh, grandfather of mine… If you get in my way, I will kill you all the same.'

An immense darkness nearly consumed Lucifer's irises as his aura threatened to spiral out of control.

He detested being at the whim of someone else's reins, and for some reason, he just knew that the old man was strong enough to see through his facade.

'The Golden Core Realm…? No… Even higher…'

Lucifer was confident in the effectiveness of his secret techniques, but no amount of confidence could bridge the gap between more than four Major Realms.

If his grandfather was truly at or above the Nascent Soul Realm, then Lucifer knew that he could do nothing but follow the old man's lead…

This realization fueled his desire for even greater strength!

He would never allow anyone to be in control of his actions ever again! No matter what he had to do or what price he had to pay, he would never allow himself to be content!

'If you think you have the upper hand on me, then you are sorely mistaken…'

An evil grin crept across his face as he returned to the grind, eager to see what that old fart's face would look like when he surpassed him!

The first thing Lucifer did upon realizing that he had been semi-found out was summon three Clones, all of whom possessed strength in the 3rd Stage of Qi Condensation.

Upon their manifestation, he directed them to go into the Great Mormonga Forest, which was where they would begin the hunting of all the Spiritual Beasts that couldn't be hunted before.

After all, every single Spiritual Beast was at least at the 1st Stage of Qi Condensation. With such immense strength, they could confidently roam the Great Mormonga Forest with a carefree attitude.

However, not a single one of them could've possibly expected there to be a mentally insane man heading their way, ready to flip their worlds upside down.

And by that, it was implied quite literally…
