Chapter 819:- Blue Mystic Clan Elders

Blue rose City,

The city is considered to be the city that is built and owned by the Blue Mystic clan. The Blue Rose is the capital of their clan, as almost all main members of the clan lives in this city. The thousands of main members of the clan are treated like royalties in this city.

Almost every elder or important figures of the clan has a luxurious residence in this city that is provided to them by their clan.

Just outside of the city there are 10 small floating islands. All the 10 floating islands surrounds the city in a circular formation; as if guarding the city from the sky.

Somewhere in the city, there was a man who was sitting under the shade of a tree. Behind the man, there was two other people that looked like they were bodyguards of this man.

The man was sitting on a rectangular-shaped stone with his legs crossed.

He was baldheaded.

He wore a black kimono.

In front of the man, there were two other people standing. One of them was an old man, and the other was the son of the old man.

The old man and his son had brown skin. Both of them were respectfully standing in front of the man in black kimono.

"Give me your hand!!" The old man obediently, gave his left hand to the man in black kimono.

The man in a black kimono opened the old man's palm.

The man in the Black kimono was reading the old man's palm.

But seeing this, his son had a very confused look.

"Your palm reading is telling me the reason that you are not getting any job is because you are physically too weak."

"….. "

The old man stared at Raven before looking at his son with a look that asked if this was the right person.

Even his son looked very confused by everything.

His father was already too old to do any physical lab or work.

His body was covered in deep wrinkles, and he had shrunk significantly with age, the toll of his 80 to 90 years clearly visible in his frail, diminished frame.

The young man also doubted if this was the right person. But then he remembered that last time he did came to this person get his health checked, and the medicine that he gave him did improve his health and stamina.

"Sir, I want you to check my father's fever." The sun still clarified, just in case he hadn't heard him at the beginning.

Realizing his mistake, Raven quickly, let go of his form and then fix his kimono as if trying to hide his nervousness.

Cough!!! After regaining his calm, he gently touched the old man's wrist and felt his pulse.

While this was happening, another man walked up to him and asked with a look of doubt.

"But I thought, an exorcist used to sit here?" The man also looked confused. His friend told him that an exorcist used to sit under the tree but instead of seeing an exorcist, he was seeing Apothecary.

"Little brother, these days, there is no income in that job anymore," Raven said with a look of disappointment.

Raven then turned to the old man and said. "Your fever is alright!!" His sentence left the old man even more confused.

What did it even mean?

Raven looked at his son and said. "That would be 200 gold coins."

'Apothecary?'

'That's a freaking scam!!'

But there was nothing that they could do since this bald headed man was from the Blue Mystic clan. But 200 gold coins was there two months of total income.

But they had no choice, but to pay since not paying the money would mean that they would get it very deep trouble.

"Pay the money and let's return home." the old man had already turned around and had begun walking away. He felt that if he saw his son giving 200 gold coins from his pocket, his weak heart might not handle it.

As for the Son, he knew he was going to get beaten like a dog who wanted their return home.

Raven grinned as he took the money from the son of the old man.

"Business is booming in this city!!" But he also knew that his scam wouldn't go unnoticed by the people. Very soon people will stop coming to him or even walk close by.

When that happens, he would need to switch to another city that is under the rule of the blue mystic clan and continue his sca….. cough!!! Business.

Noticing that an ordinary-looking couple was heading in his direction, Raven became very excited.

"Welcome!!! What do you need?" Raven asked the couple in a very polite tone.

"Are you bastard son of Elder Isshin?" Aditya asked in a neutral tone.

But as soon as Raven heard the question, the smile from his face instantly disappeared, and his expression became very dark.

"Who are you?" Raven asked the man in a cold tone. Even the two guards behind him, became alert and was ready to draw their swords for a fight.

"Who am I? Is it not important?"

"If I were to answer that question of yours, you are weak, and your heart might not handle it well."

"Take me to your daddy!!"

"Nobody outside of the clan orders me." Raven stood up with a look of anger.

He truly did not like being called 'Bastard son.'

These two words had very special meaning in his case.

Elder Isshin had Raven with a maid that used to work for his late father. Later, the maid ended up becoming pregnant with Raven. But since she was a maid, she wasn't even granted the spot of a concubine. Instead, she was forced to quit her job and leave.

So, only the upper and most powerful members of the clan knew about Raven. He would still be an outsider if his father wasn't an elder. The clan never would have recognized him as one of their own.

Thanks to his father, he was allowed to change his last name to Mystic. However, Raven is considered a part of the branch house since he isn't a pure-blood Mystic. This is why he has to resort to such scams to earn money and survive. It was only because his father was an elder that he faced no real consequences, even though he openly scammed everyone.

So Aditya's initial question hurt his ego and pride. It's like rubbing salt on open wound. But in this case the emotional pain was much more than physical pain of rubbing salt on open wound.

"Rin, please control their minds." Aditya did not want to fight them. His first question was meant to determine whether he was really the son of the elder. His intense reaction gave him the answer he was looking for.

Aditya obtained this information from the captain of the guards, whom he met at the city's entrance.

"Answer our questions honestly!!!!" As soon as she said these words, their eyes became unfocused. Any expressions on their face disappeared. They look no different than mindless puppets that Luna controlled to fight against Aditya.

"Where is your daddy?" Isshin, one of the members who worked for Allen, asked. Aditya's goal was to meet him and ask him about the method they used to spy on them for a few seconds.

"Today, I heard he was going to the Ancestral Shrine."

"And where is this Ancestral Shrine?" Rin asked.

"It's on one of the floating islands."

"Why did your dad go there?"

"It seems something big has happened. It isn't just my dad; other elders of the clan also went there." Rin and Aditya looked at each other. They knew their next destination.

Aditya felt that it wasn't just Isshin who knew their identity. All the elders could see their faces.

Around 10 minutes later, Aditya and Rin were standing before the floating island.

"Rin, can you use your powers to pull one of these floating islands?" He was just curious to the extent of her powers.

"I am pretty sure that I will be able to move small islands. Maybe if I physically touch it, I should be able to move a medium-sized island that is as big as a large battle arena. But it won't be as fast as the small islands."

"As islands that are larger than a battle arena, I don't think I would be able to move them with my cultivation powers suppressed."

Meanwhile, at the island, everyone was alerted by their presence.

"Who is it?" Asked the Supreme Elder.

"It's the ones….. whom we saw during the bonfire ceremony." The maid replied in a shaky tone.

Hearing this, the faces of all the elders, including the Shrine Maiden, stiffened.

Elder Isshin fell to his knees. His whole body was already shaking. His whole body was covered in a layer of sweat even though there was snow on the island.

Knowing that everyone on this island mostly likely knew them, Aditya felt that there was no need to hide.

In fact, before coming here, they had removed their disguise.

As for Raven, he has no clue how his counter with two strangers went or where they went. He does not remember anything.

Just a few minutes later, all the Elders came to the edge of the island to see them.

"This humble man is deeply honored to see the Dragon Monarch." Saying that the supreme Elder bent his body 90 degrees. The elders and others standing in a line behind the supreme Elder also did the same.

"I assume you all know me." Aditya clasped his hands on his back.

"Yes…..!!!" It was a deep and fearful tone from the Supreme Elder. In fact, his body was already covered in sweat. He was trying his best not to shake like Elder Isshin in front of the Dragon Monarch.

"I am curious. Would you mind telling us how did you spy on us?" What they did previously was spying on them.

"Sir, it was an ancient technique that all seven clans perform when any important member of our clan suddenly dies."

"Using a small remain of the deceased such a small piece of bone, hair, skin, we can see a glimpse of the mur...I mean the person who killed our leader."

'I nearly used the word Murder!!'

'Fortunately, I managed to change things in time; otherwise, I might have accidentally offended him.' The Supreme Elder sighed in relief.

"Around a few seconds, Sir!!" He wasn't even looking at Aditya but looking at the ground. He had lowered his head.

"Are there any ways of avoiding being spied on?"

"There are many, Sir!!"

"Such as?"

"If the death of the target has happened in a place that is already concealed with Rune barriers. Or the person has died more than 2 hours ago. Or if the person has died outside of Stardawn."

"Does this mean this ritual does not work outside of Stardawn?" Aditya asked.

The Supreme Elder nodded. "The ritual needs some tiny fragments of Anti-Gravity Crystals. Since these crystals are not produced in the outside world, this ritual does not work outside of Stardawn."

Hearing this, Aditya was kind of disappointed. After hearing about the Bonfire Ritual, he wanted to introduce his ritual in his Empire. That way, they can accurately find out the killer every time. His eyes landed on a man who had been trembling this entire time. Since the beginning, he never raised his head to look at Aditya. 'So this is him!!' "Anyone who knows our identities is not allowed to live." Aditya's words sped up everyone's nervous heart.

 "Supreme Elder, I will give you two options." "First, you all can die, and this matter will end. But the positive side of this option is that I will not harm the rest of your clan."
