Qiao Yi turned to face him, her lips curling with a bitter smile. “Weren’t you in Feng City? Why are you here looking after the mother in confinement?”

“No… not at all!” Zhang Heyuan shook his head hurriedly, trying to calm himself and managed a mild, refined smile. He walked up to Qiao Yi, “Yiyi, I was indeed in Feng City yesterday. My cousin’s surrogate is having a baby. He was scared that his wife might get suspicious, so he couldn’t come to take care of the mother. He called me for help, so I had to come.”

“Really?” Qiao Yi sneered at him, “Is it really your cousin’s baby?”

From one slap, one scream, many onlookers had already gathered.

She walked out of the room after saying this.

She no longer needed to verify whose baby the woman gave birth to.

Even if it was indeed his cousin’s baby, she still wanted to divorce Zhang Heyuan.
