Chapter 3120 - Raining Darkfiends

Their eyes turned bloodshot in an instant. Gu Mohe hated Cang Jue and focused her attacks on him. The angrier she grew, the more of her reason she lost, making her subsume to the bloodsoul storm even faster.

"You vile thing!" Cang Jue fought back and was also slowly being subsumed. "Die! Die!"

Given that Cang Jue was a level higher than her, he had the upper hand in the fight. The longer the fight went on, the more their minds were corrupted by the bloodsoul storm. Within a matter of ten breaths' time, their skin had turned completely crimson. There was nothing in their sights apart from each other.

"This is a good chance." Tianming wouldn't be able to take them on head-on, but they were already weakened from losing their reason to the bloodsoul storm. Not to mention, Cang Jue had his focus entirely on Gu Mohe. Tianming had been waiting for just such an opportune moment.

"Villain! I’ll slay you!" Cang Jue used his totems to push back against Gu Mohe. Then he raised his mighty war axe and unleashed a flurry of attacks on her.

"Aaaagh!" Gu Mohe was not someone to be angered lightly. With a shriek, her totems underwent a few simulacra! She used the last bit of the power in her cosmic charts to deliver a fatal blow right before she perished.

Filled with rage, Cang Jue hacked away at the attack to break it. At the same time, he was struck by Gu Mohe's sword near his chest. There was quite a large hole there. While that wouldn’t necessarily kill astral gods, it was the opening that Tianming needed.

Cang Jue frantically tried to back away with a crazed roar, but Tianming used Fiveway Blitzrun and appeared behind him without warning! Eightruin Dragonshield began forming around Lan Huang and rapidly spun, manifesting as eight dragons of mountains and seas. Tianming's physical strength and cosmoforce had been charged to the maximum.

Then he unleashed Azure Dragon Descent! The kick was different from just any normal kick; the battle art's intricate technique utilized his energies to their maximum potential. It was also perfectly complementary to Eightruin Dragonshield, and when used with the leg that was Lan Huang, there couldn't be a more perfect combination. Lan Huang's control over its primordial order pushed the power of the kick to the maximum!

Cang Jue howled like a darkfiend after killing Gu Mohe. He turned back, only to be struck square in the chest by Tianming's surprise attack! The full extent of Azure Dragon Descent ravaged his body on top of the bleeding hole that he had suffered. His astral organs crumbled as he slammed into the inner walls of the blood path like a blue meteor. The triple dragon attack was so powerful that Cang Jue's body had split into two from the sheer force!

Having suffered so much pain and damage, Cang Jue recovered some of his senses, but it only caused him to suffer more. He was going through the exact same thing as Gu Mohe had before she had been killed. "Li Tianming!"

"This time, it's your turn!" There was only one chance to get the final blow in. Cang Jue's cosmic charts were already forming new astrons to reconstruct his damaged body; should he be allowed to recover, Tianming would never have that great a chance to end him for good anymore!

A Skyscorch Wrathlotus landed beside Cang Jue and exploded, interrupting his body's regeneration. The next instant, Tianming used Imperator's Mural, infused with Mansionis Imperatoris! Eight imperatores of the flameyellow divinities manifested.

"I’ll kill you and entirely eliminate the risk!" Tianming roared. The power of all ten of his totems and the nine cosmic impulses in his sword surged. The lifebound beasts in his body pulsed with power and focused all of it into his arms. Down came a mighty slash!

"Ah! You!" Cang Jue was fuming from the flaming explosion of the lotus, yet he didn't have long to vent before the strike was right in front of him. If he had been in his prime condition, he would have been able to resist the strike, yet Tianming's swift final blow slammed straight past his body into his cosmic charts. As they tore, Cang Jue shrieked in utter agony.

All nine of his cosmic charts were extinguished, ending Cang Jue for good! Tianming was only able to kill him thanks to many different circumstantial factors. Either way, he felt relieved after doing so and no longer had to worry about causing trouble for Bluemaple Swordvalley.

The shockwaves from the battle still shook their surroundings. All of a sudden, Tianming noticed that the bloodsoul storm had stopped and clarity had returned to the blood path.

"Is it over?" He relaxed and prepared to head back to the others from Bluemaple Swordvalley.

Just as he looked down and was about to call out to them, he saw Yue Lanfeng's look of terror. "Sir, duck to the side!"

"Quickly! Duck!" everyone cried.

"What?" The next instant, Tianming heard a deafening roar from above. He looked up and saw countless darkfiends descending toward him. Weren't they supposed to come from below? Why are so many up there? He simply couldn't figure it out.

Maybe the bloodsoul storm rushed upward and attracted the darkfiends from other caves, causing them to swarm down here after the storm ended? That would be absolutely disastrous. He didn't even dare to imagine how many there were. There were so many that they were being squeezed against the sides of the blood path!

Tianming had just killed Cang Jue and had nowhere else to run but down, yet going lower wasn’t safe by any means. The darkfiends had also already spotted him, thanks to how flashy he was. Many darkfiends were stronger than tenth-level cosmic cartographers and they numbered in the hundreds of thousands! It appeared that the troubles of the bloodsoul storm hadn’t ended just yet.

"Ugh!" Before the darkfiends arrived, Tianming could already feel the soul shock. It affected his astral brain more than the bloodsoul storm had!
